Match Report
A much improved performance after our defeat at the hands of Shannon in the McInerney cup semi-final last week. Both sides were evenly matched in the opening period and we led 10 – 8 from a Fergus Sheahan penalty and a touch down from John Mark Griffin after a maul from 20 meters and again Fergus added the points. We upped the ante in the second half and took control of the match and had a further try from Griffin after some excellent build up play and the third try arrived when Charley Colling pounced after Ennis lost control at the scrum. Fergus added the points to both tries. Some of our Under 20 players did well especially Charley Colling and James Carroll. It was also good to see Dave Madden and Peter O’Shea back playing again.
